Well, the word is out, a dozen collection bins as well as donation jars are setup throughout the town at local businesses in support of The Orange Santa! More and more people are getting interested in becoming involved and if you are one of those people, please don't hestitate to contact us!
We are encouraging everyone to contact their contacts to ask for a donation, whether it be an unwrapped toy or a monetary donation. $50 is enough to make one child's ENTIRE Christmas!
Tomorrow is our first Fundraiser! We will be doing photos with Santa at Olde Tyme Christmas here in town. Last year we made ornaments with all the kids and froze our bottoms off, looks like this year the weather may be a little warmer...gotta love Texas and this strange weather! :o)
The photos will be $3.00 each, all proceeds going to Orange Santa so I'm hoping for a HUGE turnout!!! Maybe 200 or so, wouldn't that be AWESOME!!!! We are also having someone in our group dress up as the Grinch to have snow balls thrown at him, let's see how that turns out! LOL
